Closing

At the end of the meeting, before Scouts depart, the troop should always and properly close things out. A well-presented closing period wraps everything up in a predictable fashion, and when done in a meaningful manner puts a comfortable cap on what’s preceded.

  • Closing Announcements (review important announcements from the opening)
  • Retire the colors
  • Scout Circle with Taps
