Please come see me in the kitchen when you’ve completed Requirement 7 and I will sign your blue card.
Requirement 7 requires 8 hours of volunteering with a charitable organization outside Scouting.
You can fulfill your 8 hours of volunteering any way you would like, but please run it by me first.
Two Volunteer Opportunities/Suggestions:
1. Southside Food Pantry – across from Trader Joe’s
2934 E 27th Ave, Spokane, WA 99223
Every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (also note: open Wednesday 12-21-22 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.- over Winter Break)
Okay to volunteer without a parent or guardian, if you are age 10 or above

2. Santa Express – Basement of River Park Square (old Mobius Children’s Museum location)
All proceeds benefit Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Scouts would help kids shop and wrap presents.
Scouts under age 16 cannot volunteer alone, so they would need to volunteer when I am there, or a parent/guardian must volunteer with them. Scouts 16 and over can volunteer anytime.
Jill will be there on two dates, for Scouts who want to attend alone:
Monday 12-19-22 – 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. time slot
Thursday 12-22-22 – 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. time slot
*Please note I will not be there Wednesday 12-21-22 as previously scheduled.
