FOCUS ON COMMUNITY SERVICE

As scouts, and as a troop we wanted to focus on the duty of service to our community. One of the new positions the troop created was a service project coordinator. Jill Reuter has graciously stepped up to assist with this effort. She has received notice of a need in our community. Please help if you can!

A disabled senior needs help mowing her lawn all summer. The job would be to mow her lot, and an extra lot next door that she owns. Some trimming along the fences and curbs would be helpful as well. She does not have a mower, so the Scout would need to transport his/her own mower to and from the job. Location is in the Hillyard area, near Minnehaha Park.  This job could be done by one Scout every week or every-other-week, or by a group of Scouts rotating.
If your Scout is able to help, please contact Jill Reuter at servicetroop313@gmail.com.
