Citizenship in the Nation, Week #1 Homework – due 3-8-22 = Requirement 3 

Watch the national evening news five days in a row OR read the front page of a major daily newspaper five days in a row (reading the national news section of a local newspaper is also acceptable). 

Answer these two questions listed on pages 3-4 of the workbook: 

1. Discuss the national issues you learned about with your counselor. 

2. Choose one of the issues and explain how it affects you and your family.

PATROL LEADER COUNCIL – MEETING NEXT WEEK AT 6:30. All senior leadership and patrol leaders are expected to attend.

MARCH CAMPOUT – We have a campout schedule March 18-20. We are going to Lambi Creek. Here are the Directions for the Friday night group and Saturday group. Make sure you get the directions specific to your arrival time ~ they are different!

SUMMER CAMP– As you know we are going to Camp Easton this year. Price is $430. We are going the week of July 17-23. First deposit of $100 is due now. Once we receive full payment your scout can register for classes. **They are not posted just yet so please stand by 🙂 I REALLY do not want to use VENMO or PAYPAL. Please bring your money to the kitchen window starting March 1. Cash or check is perfect.

Also, please try to schedule your BSA physical ASAP. It is really hard on us to scramble to track you all down the day before we leave for camp. PLEASE make it easier on us by getting things on your end done early. THANK YOU! Attached below is the Medical Forms, and the COVID Information I have received from camp. At this time, it appears we still have to do a pre-screening before we leave, but I will keep you updated.
