MESSAGE FROM JULIE TYLMAN:
We’re looking forward to our first backpacking campout of the season – weekend of October 16-17 at beautiful Upper Priest Lake. We’ll be hiking Trail 291 into Navigation campground, a 3.4 mile hike each way.
Meetings on 10/5 and 10/12 will cover food, gear and pack inspection. First-time backpackers encouraged to attend! As mentioned in last Tuesday’s meeting, here’s a backpacking gear list (insert link here) so interested parents and Scouts have time to pick up any backpacking-specific items they need.
