From Bob: Hello everyone!

This is my first update for Bonaparte Summer Camp 2021.  It’s the end of the 3rd day and all is well, almost.  Earlier today the Water Front Director dislocated his shoulder and was taken to the hospital in Omak.  This put a stop to all In Water activities.  He did return after around dinner and can resume supervising Merit Badge activities tomorrow.

So far there has been absolutely no paralyzing Home Sickness cases.  All the scouts have been enthusiastically working on their Merit Badges and a few on Advancement.  Temps have been in the mid to upper 80’s and just in the last two days a little smoke has settled over the lake but evacuates in early afternoon.  Mornings have been in the 50’s.

Attached are a couple pics.  One showing Will Aldred performing with his trumpet for tonight’s evening Flag Ceremony.  He did an excellent job and the camp staff wants him to also work the morning flags  for the rest of the week.

The 2nd pic is the group of boy’s at the Water Front.
