END OF THE YEAR~

We will have our last meeting June 8. Mr Davis and I will be there to try and finish up anything needed before the summer.

COURT OF HONOR – We have decided not to have a spring Court of Honor. All rank and badges earned to date, and then through the summer will be awarded in a Court of Honor in the fall. ~~~

SERVICE HOURS – A Troop 313 family needs some help! PLEASE, on June 5, come to 1914 E 53rd,(53rd and Magnolia) with rakes and work gloves and water at 10 AM. You will receive service hours for your time today and really help out one of our scout families. This is a good way to finish up some service hours for rank advancement.

EMAIL ME IF YOU ARE ABLE TO MAKE IT SO I CAN TRACK HOURS. christellcasey@gmail.com~~~

EAGLE SCOUT BOARD OF REVIEW – I need two volunteers for an Eagle Scout Board of Review for Ayden Franklin. It will be by Zoom, most likely June 10 at 7 PM. ~~~

SUMMER CAMP – It is not too late to sign up. The price this year is $320.

VENMO – @Christell-Casey. PAY PAL – @christellcasey1

As soon as your scout is paid in full, I can register them for merit badges. Unfortunately, the Grand Columbia Council does not have a parent portal. So, you will have to send me the list of classes your scout want to take and I will sign them up. Bonaparte also has classes for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class, so if your scout needs rank advancement after this crazy year, this might be a very good option for them. Here is a link to the class schedule:classes-2Download

Also, don’t forget you need a BSA Medical Examination. Here is the form.health-formDownload

Once you have it completed, please email them to Jen Oberst at jkoberst@gmail.com

We will be having a Summer Camp Parents meeting in mid-June. WE STILL NEED ADULTS TO ATTEND! Let me know right away if you can stay at camp all week, or even for a few nights. If you plan to go, you MUST have a current youth protection certificate. THANKS!

EAGLE SCOUT PROJECTS – We have a lead for some projects. Jeff Lambert, the Executive Director of the Dishman Hills Conservatory has things that scouts can do. You can contact him at ed@dishmanhills.org or 509-999-510
