BOATING COURSE – We were able to get enough interested folks to do the 6-hour boater’s safety course to be certified to operate a motorized watercraft in Washington state. The course is scheduled on Saturday May 8 beginning at 9 AM. It will be taught at the Spokane County Sheriff’s Training Center in Newman Lake. The address is 6011 N Chase Rd in Newman Lake, WA. Please remember to bring some paper and a pen or pencil as well as a sack lunch. Mr Davis will email you if you’ve already contacted him about attending to confirm. There are a few spots left if there are others interested but we’re close to full so if you want to attend and have not told Mr Davis yet then please email him right away at greyhaus@gmail.com. “
IN PERSON MEETINGS RESUMES MAY 4. – All scouts who signed up to be senior leadership should plan to attend. I need older scouts to work with younger ones, and some parents to stick around for a bit in case we have boards of review.
SUMMER CAMP – It is not too late to sign up. The price this year is $320. I can begin taking payments immediately.
VENMO – @Christell-Casey. PAY PAL – @christellcasey1
As soon as your scout is paid in full, I can register them for merit badges. Unfortunately, the Grand Columbia Council does not have a parent portal. So, you will have to send me the list of classes your scout want to take and I will sign them up. Bonaparte also has classes for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class, so if youR scout needs rank advancement after this crazy year, this might be a very good option for them.
