COH – Thank you to all the parents who made it! I know it means a lot to your sons and to us that you make time in your busy schedule to recognize their accomplishments! And thank you Kyle and Keegan for a wonderful job done!
LOST AND FOUND – There was a grey sweatshirt and Brick House water bottle left behind that I will bring to the next meeting.

PINETREES ORIENTEERING COURSE
The church is unavailable on 9/24, so we are giving the older scouts the night off, but the Pinetrees, (or any scout still needing this 1st Class requirement) will have an opportunity to complete this requirement. Mr. Davis will be setting up a course at Comstock Park to complete the following:
4a. Using a map and compass, complete an orienteering course that covers at least one mile and requires measuring the height and/or width of designated items (tree, tower, canyon, ditch, etc.).
4b. Demonstrate how to use a handheld GPS unit, GPS app on a smartphone, or other electronic navigation system. Use GPS to find your current location, a destination of your choice, and the route you will take to get there. Follow that route to arrive at your destination.
Please be at the picnic tables at the northwest corner of the Park promptly at 6:00 PM. We will be starting on time so as to complete the course before dark. Have the boys bring a compass, and a phone/item that has GPS capability if possible. (phones often have both) Boys can share, if needed. Headlamps/flashlights might also be advisable. Parents who want to stay might be put to work helping the boys, and I’m sure Mr. Davis would be glad of the help supervising!
Fun Night – The church is unavailable on October 1 as well. The boys have voted for the fun night to be at ALTITUDE trampoline park on Argonne. You can sign the online release form, or do so when you drop off your son. They also MUST have the socks with tread provided by Altitude. If your son has gone before they can be reused, otherwise you can buy them for $2 (I think)
STEM – The first day of STEM classes is October 5. Registration is open on the council website. https://scoutingevent.com/611-STEMMBU2019
