September Campout THIS WEEKEND
This weekend the campout has a mountain biking component. We will be going to Beaver Creek Campground. PLEASE MEET at the church at 5 PM if you are heading up Friday, as we need to get a head count, and make sure all boys going have a ride. We will leave by 5:20. If you are heading up Saturday, please meet at the church at 8:00 AM, again to make sure no none is left behind. If you are heading up at another time, please let Bob know, so that we have a head count.
We will be returning around noon Sunday. Directions to the campsite are below.
Also, there seems to be a couple families that need help getting their bikes to Priest Lake. One of the new scout dad’s is bringing a 4 bike hitch rack to the group Friday at the church for someone to use on their car. It would be for his son and three others.
If you are planning to drive a truck up Friday, are you able to transport a few bikes? Please let Bob know if you are able! Thanks!
Court of Honor
This coming Tuesday (09/17) at 6:30 PM is our Fall Court of Honor. This is an event for the entire family to celebrate the achievements of our scouts over the summer. Please bring a couple of food items to share (see below), as well as your own plates, silverware and beverage. Hope to see you there!

Cleanup by Raptors – Please stay after the program to make sure the church is fully cleaned up and all garbage out.
Pinetrees Orienteering Course
The church is unavailable on September 24, so the Pinetrees will be meeting at Comstock Park, at the picnic tables at the north west corner of the park. They will work on an orienteering course needed for 1st Class. They need to have a compass, and if possible, access to a GPS locator, on a phone would work.
Fun Night
The church is unavailable on October 1 as well. The boys have voted for the fun night to be at ALTITUDE trampoline park on Argonne. You can sign the online release form, or do so when you drop off your son. They also MUST have the socks with tread provided by Altitude. If your son has gone before they can be reused, otherwise you can buy them for $2 (I think)
