Service hours opportunity: Hamblen Park Presbyterian is hosting a National Night Out event. We need approximately 2 more scouts on Tuesday 08/06 from 8:00am-10:00am. (Andrea does not think it wail take that long, though.) You will be helping with the set up. Please contact Andrea Barkstrom at andrea.barkstrom@gmail.com if your son is interested. This service project could help any boy who is looking to advance ranks in the fall.
Monday August 12th Ms. Boyle will be taking Dylan to a City Council meeting for his Citizenship in the Community merit badge. She is willing to to take other Scouts down and back, or if parents want to drop off and she can bring back, etc. She has room for 5 more who would like to go with her. The meeting starts at 6pm.
