Scout-a-Rama

If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, head out to Cabela’s for the Inland Northwest Council’s Scout-a-Rama. It runs from 9:00am to 2:30pm and there will be tons of stuff to do and learn. For complete details, visit https://scoutingevent.com/611-SOR19.

Service Opportunity
John Pegg has a service opportunity for Scouts 14 years and older. On April 27 from 9:00am-2:00pm, boys can help customers carry out purchases at the County Extension Planet Sale. All hours will go toward rank or merit badge requirements. Contact John if you plan to attend or if you have questions (509-720-6434).

Swimming Merit Badge
The pool session for the Swimming Merit Badge is Sunday (04/28) at the Spokane Club. We have the pool from 3:00pm-5:00pm and a waiver will need to be signed – so please don’t just drop your son and go, but come inside to make sure everything is good. Cost is $5 if you are not a member.

Summer Camp
Merit Badge registration will open in the next week or two. A full payment of $310 is required before we can provide you with log in details. Please make sure you are fully paid by next Tuesdays (04/30).

We will hold a parent’s meeting on Tuesday 05/14 at 6:00pm. One parent for each boy is required to attend. We’ll work through all the details for this week long trip.

Also, a full medical form with doctor’s signature is required. Please schedule this ASAP and return completed forms with a copy of your medical insurance card to us before the end of the troop year.

Patrol Leader Council
Next Tuesday (04/30) is our April PLC. All troop and patrol leaders are required to attend at 6:00pm. We’ll be planning the last bit of our year and reviewing summer activities.

Advancement Night
Starting at 7:00pm on Tuesday (04/30), will be our Advancement Night. New first year Scouts will meet with Mr. Davis as normal. For the rest of the troop, it is a night for Scoutmaster Conferences and Board of Reviews.
