If your son is planning to attend the Welding merit badge next Tuesday (02/19), please let us know ASAP (if you haven’t already). There is a limit on boys, but we still have room. Feel free to email me (committeechair@troop313.net) or call/text (509-951-8559).
The classroom work will be done on Tuesday 02/19 starting at 6:00pm and continuing into the troop time. A shop class will be held offsite on Friday 02/22 and depending on numbers a second shop class may be needed on Friday 03/01 (time and dates will be determined on Tuesday).
Cooking Merit Badge
We’re also starting another session of the Cooking merit badge. This is an Eagle required badge so if your son does not have it, we would recommend them starting. Classwork will begin on Tuesday 02/26. A sign up sheet will be available at the kitchen window on Tuesday night.
Summer Camp
We are starting to collect names and a first payment for summer camp. We will be attending Camp Fife, which is out of council. If your son would like to attend, please let me know so I can add him to our list. The first payment of $100 is due Tuesday 03/05 and a final payment of $210 will be due on 04/09.
