Our kick off parent’s meeting is Tuesday 08/28 at 6:15pm (this should give you time to drop your son off at the merit badge (see below) and get the the park). The plan is to hold it at the Hamblen Park shelter. Bring a chair, something to write with and questions & ideas. We’ll cover the fall and some long range plans too.
If the smoke gets bad again, we’ll move it inside. If you don’t hear from me early next week, assume we’ll be at the park.

Personal Fitness
Fitness tests will continue on Tuesday 08/28 at Hart Field. Please arrive at 6:00pm.
Troop Meetings
We start meetings on Tuesday 09/04. These will be the new structure and will start at 7:00pm. Please make sure your son is at the church, in full uniform and ready to go BEFORE 7:00pm.
STEM
Registration is open for STEM merit badge university (https://scoutingevent.com/611-STEMMBU). You must sign up in advance, so take a look now and get your son registered. The first session is Saturday 09/15 and the second is Saturday 11/17. Cost is only $35 and covers both sessions, plus lunch.
Service Opportunity
Firehouse Subs in Spokane is purchasing, assembling and delivering food to the wildfire firefighters that are fighting the fires around us out! They are looking for community members to support the firefighter by assembling sandwiches, along with a variety of other foods, to deliver to the firefighters. Compensation is available per shift.
