Personal Fitness
The next Personal Fitness merit badge meeting will be on Tuesday 08/14 at 6:00pm. We’ll meet at Hart Field. Come prepared!
STEM
You can now register for STEM. For those that are not aware, STEM is a merit badge college that focuses on badges that feature Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The first session is on Saturday 09/15 and the final session is Saturday 11/17 (both are required to finish most badges). Cost is only $35 and that includes lunch. Popcorn Sale
Popcorn sale will begin 09/28/2018. We have a new popcorn vendor, Trail’s End. There will be a training session on Tuesday 09/18 for the Scouts selling. We will have some storefront sales opportunities again this year and will have a sign-up sheet available in the near future.
This year commissions will be 38% (they were 34% last year). This amount will go toward paying 2019 troop dues and summer camp.
There will also be a special training with Luke Fewx, who is a Scout and the top seller nationally. This training will be from a Scout to Scouts and on 09/22, location information coming. Online sales will now be year-round and directions will be coming on how to sign up a Scout to sell online.
We will be offering the Salesmanship merit badge to go along with popcorn sales this year. Watch for details soon.
Disabilities Awareness & Chess merit badges
