Please plan to have at least one parent at our mandatory summer camp meeting on Tuesday 05/08. We’ll meet at 6:00pm in the Skylight Room at the church. If you haven’t paid in full, please bring a check. Don’t forget to plan your physicals so that the forms can be completed no later than the end of June.
Gardening Merit Badge
A visit to our county extension agent’s office, local university agricultural college, nursery, or a botanical garden or arboretum is required for the merit badge. The tour of the extension center will satisfy many of the other merit badge requirements as well, so those taking the merit badge will want to attend. If a scout taking the merit badge is not able to attend the tour, he will have to satisfy the visit/tour part of the merit badge requirements individually as well as the other merit badge requirements that will be met with the information learned on the tour. Siblings and the adults bringing the scout to the tour are welcome to attend.

Boater Safety Class
Saturday, May 12, from 9am-3pm, we will be hosting a Free Boater Safety Course for Washington and Idaho Cards at the church. Please bring a sack lunch. Please contact Mr. Mick ASAP to let him know you will attend. Anyone 12 yrs, and up, can join us to learn about boat/water safety.
New Troop Structure
Starting in September, the troop meetings will be structured differently. I was able to layout that structure at our parent’s meeting on Tuesday. I’d like to encourage you to review it and provide any feedback during May (committeechair@troop313.net). I’ve posted the details online.
Our hope is that this new structure will encourage the boys to learn, grow and lead!
